You will notice where the spaces are placed and what to expect in your search using different ways of using the + - or *

As discussed above, you can also search in topic title only or the entire post depending on what you wish to find. You also can search the complete forum or only 1 section of the forum.

To explain this better, I performed a search using +adobe +cs4 +portable and searching the entire post and it yielded 11 posts:


Alternatively, I searched only topic titles and got a 7 post result:


I also did a search on "Avril Lavigne" (with the " ") and found 2 pages that dealt with her. Some in the EBook section dealing with her lyrics.


By searching Titles Only I found 10 topics only but some were in Music Vidz.


To refine even further, I only apply the search to the music section and got 6 returns
